They’ve very good collection of books and newspapers. It’s very quiet and I love that. They’ve computers and very good internet connections. I have used it to take print out few times. Also the WiFi connection is very good, I used it for my personal laptop to write my blog and it’s very fast, This is something additional to what a library can offer.
My daughter loves the toddler storytime. It's a small library but still very nice. The librarians are pretty nice too.
What happened to Libraries being quiet?? This place is LOUD. The Librarians speak in full voice and do NOT enforce being quiet. I no longer go here!
Wonderful place to go. Friendly tip...when you go there to study, only stay on the main floor and the 13+ floor. If you go downstairs, it’s ok but your going to have to deal with screaming children. :(
I’ve visited Lake Hiawatha Library several times. To get a library member card is very simple, you just need to be a resident of Parsippany. One can lend new books for two weeks and old books for four weeks.
The restroom is maintained neat. Staffs are very friendly. Parking space is less, you’ll have to park in street if the space is full outside the library.

There is museum pass that you can use for a family, you can borrow it from main library and it can be used only for three days. Additional days will end up with $5 late fee & should you lose it be prepared to pay $100 replacement fee.
Overall a very good place to spend time intellectually.
