There's nothing really wrong with this hotel it's just sort of bleh. Rooms are large and clean but plain and dated. Staff is friendly enough. Breakfast is not so good. If you bring your own food in nice weather you can bbq in the courtyard.
Stayed for a month. Worst breakfast ( Hyatt House Parsippany is 1000 times better, I wish I could have stayed in there instead ) , Rooms are pretty outdated and old (Not sure when will they ever renovate), sluggish old lift, Staff is ok, but not very helpful (So unlike service industry) .. and not to mention the furniture and utensils inside the rooms..
The room my brother in law and his family had definitely needed updating. One of the cabinet doors was hanging down and the room just felt old. The pool was small but nice. Good for smaller children as the shallow end was about 3 feet and the deep end wasn't 5 feet.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Located in a safe and quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were big and clean, with a kitchen, living room, separate bedroom (bed was very comfortable!), nice bathroom, and two tv's! Full breakfast bar included eggs and sausage, juices and coffee, bagels, English muffins, toast, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, etc. Rec room with pool table and air hockey which my son really enjoyed. Nice indoor pool and jacuzzi.
My family and I came to New Jersey to visit family for Thanksgiving. We stayed at this hotel for the week. It was a very pleasant experience. The rooms were huge and very cozy. My kids loved the pool area and game room. We spent a lot of time there at night laughing and playing. It is great place to come with kids. There is lots to do to keep them entertained. They also have an exercise room where I burned off some much needed Holiday calories off while I watched them swim. All in all it was a great stay and the hotel staff went out of their way to help us feel like we were home. I definitely recommend this hotel in you are ever in the area.
